The large open world of Ghost of Tsushima is easy to overwhelm new players, so this is Ghost of Tsushima guide
The most notable and expected blockbuster in July – Ghost of Tsushima has finally launched, surely everyone is still searching for each area on this huge island, as well as dozens of quests. To help new players have a better start in the journey to conquer the game, here is a list of important tasks and furniture to get first.
Note: The order below is ranked by priority, which one above is more important than the one below.
Samurai Clan Armor
This is something that you need to get immediately into the game, it is located in the quest “The Tale of Lady Masako” – which will automatically be available when we go through the opening and completing the quest “The Warrior’s Code” ( in some cases it may be an error then you need to complete the “The Tale of Sensei Ishikawa” task first to unlock it).
After accepting this mission, we will accompany the female warrior Masako to the Golden Temple to find a monk named Sogen, after talking you will be directed to the armor-maker and we will be rewarded with Samurai Clan Armor – one of the 2 strongest armor of Ghost of Tsushima.
Features of Samurai Clan Armor:
- Health increased.
- Reduce damage.
- When receiving damage, Resolve will be restored
This is the most defensive armor in the entire game, when maxed out, according to my calculations it will reduce at least 60% of the damage received, no armor possesses the ability Defensive defense like Samurai Clan Armor.
It is especially beneficial in duel battles because not only is the damage reduced, but whenever Jin takes a hit, Resolve will get a little regrowth (maximum upgrade is 30%), it allows you to heal continuously. boss, so Samurai Clan Armor is the strongest at the beginning of the game.
Short Bow (Half Bow)
This is also one of the main missions that you need to do as soon as you enter the game, it takes place at the same time as “The Tale of Lady Masako”. Accordingly, “The Tale of Sensei Ishikawa” is part of a series of missions that span the game about the pursuit of Master Ishikawa’s traitor, the latter who will teach Jin to use a bow.
During this mission Jin will receive a short bow (Half Bow), this is one of the 2 bows that you will use throughout Ghost of Tsushima – the other is Long Bow, which will also be obtained through a mission. the other women in Act 1, but that’s later.
Half Bow has a fast speed, fast fire rate, and strong damage – one shot if hit, and when upgraded to the maximum level, it is enough to kill the unarmed soldiers, later you can install additional fire bow for it.
This bow is great at the beginning of the game when the soldiers do not have armor and you can one-shot almost everything, you can use this bow everywhere because it does not spend any resources.
After completing the tasks “Hammer and Forge” (Yuna’s storyline) and “The Tale of Ryuzo”, we will unlock The Iron Hook – this is the third part of Yuna events. During this mission, Jin will save the Ryuzo soldiers being imprisoned by the Mongols, in order to do that, he needs an iron hook forged by Yuna’s brother Taka, this tool will help the player climb and cling to special points that normally cannot reach.
Basically, this hook is the thing to move on the map, grab hidden items located on tall buildings or go assassination. This hook is not a fight at all, but you should get it as soon as possible to make it easier to explore the map.
Charm of Inari
While playing Ghost of Tsushima you will see the ruined Shinto shrines scattered around the map, if Jin climbs to the top of the temple he will be rewarded with very strong charm and a piece of Wax Wood ( to upgrade supply). There are 16 such temples throughout the game, but what we’re talking about here is the Arrow Peak Shrine, which houses the Charm of Inari – a charm dedicated to looting items.
The location of the Arrow Peak Shrine is located in the lower right corner of the Act 1 map near the Archer’s Rise area, you must have an iron hook to climb to the top so I ranked this last item in the article. The best thing is right after you get an iron hook, run to this place right away.
The charm of Inari is a pure item of economic benefit, as it will help Jin increase the number of items picked up below:
- Supplies (money)
- Predator hides
- Yew wood
Simply put every time you pick up the items above, Charm of Inari will “double” it again, the added number will fall from 20% to 80% of the original amount – otherwise, It is understandable that Charm of Inari will add 50% of the total collected items. It will help you save a lot of time picking up and upgrading, to save the effort of running around.
