The employees of City Garden Grand Hotel couldn’t help but to cry over the suspension of their operation. They temporarily lost their job.

It is after the issue of Christine Dacera who had a leisure party in the said hotel last January 1.

The group of Dacera together with her friends had a in house party at the City Garden Grand Hotel and celebrated their New Year’s Eve there.

However, this is a breach of the strict quarantine safety protocol of the government. As we all know, we are still in a pandemic so any parties or public gatherings are strictly not allowed.

Sadly, this party eventually ended the life of Christine Dacera.

Moreover, this case of the 23-year-old flight attendant was the first thing which made noise for the first days of year 2021.

Aside from the grieving family who lost their loved one, the employees of the hotel in Makati are also crying over the suspension of their workplace.

As a consequence of the breached protocol, the Department of Tourism ordered the hotel to stop their operations.

Because of this, all of their employees lost their jobs for six months. Aside from this, the hotel was also fined of Php 10,000 and their certification to operate was also withdrawn.

Sadly, the employees are the most affected for this. Most of them have families to support. As a matter of fact, in a video that was uploaded in Youtube, it shows the employees crying upon losing their source of income.

Meanwhile, the case of Dacera is now less making noise but yet to release the final findings.

A basketball player named Justin Rieta, who was among the people inside the room 2207 of City Garden Grand Hotel came to National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) office of Manila last January 13 to explain his self and his innσcence from the rαρє-sℓαy tag on Dacera’s case.

Rieta was with his legal counsel during the investigation.

According to the athlete, he did not know anyone from the room 2209 (Christine’s unit number)

“Hindi ko po kilala yung kabilang room [Room 2209]. Wala po akong kilala sa kanila,” he said.

Rieta’s appearance contradicts the claims of Dacera’s friends that no straight guys were in room 2209, blurring our the possibility of ѕєχυαℓ αѕѕαυℓt.

“Nung nagising ako to check my schedule, mga bandang 2:30 a.m., si Tin lumapit sa akin, then she grabbed my hand, and sabi niya sa akin, ‘Sis punta tayo sa kabila. Check natin kung merong straight guy doon.’

“Ako naman, sinamahan ko siya, ‘tapos siguro mga five minutes, six minutes, bumalik din kami agad sa room.” Rommel Galido, one of the primary sυѕρєcts said.

Meanwhile Valentine Rosales, Dacera’s best friend also supported Gallido’s statement.

“Napansin nga namin yung mga tao sa 2207, wala naman guwapo ‘tapos mga matata… parang may age na. Bakℓa pero may mga edad na.

“Sabi ko, ‘Doon na lang tayo sa kabila, wala naman pogi dito.’

“So, pumunta na kami pabalik sa room namin to welcome the new year,”

A reporter also asked Rosales to if they knew any basketball player on 2209.

“Meron bang nagpakilala o may nakilala ba kayong basketball player sa 2207? Meron bang parang basketball player doon o nabalitaan niyo na basketball player pala yung isa sa kainuman doon?”

“Wala po kasi akong kilala at alam ko matatandang bakℓa sila, wala akong… sorry, sorry sa term pero, yeah, there’s… we did not see any straight guys there.” Rosales answered.
