After Shadow Warrior 2 unsuccessfully “followed” looter shooter, the developer Flying Wild Hog finally came back to Shadow Warrior 3, the latest version of the hilarious slash-and-shoot action series. It quickly caught the attention of gamers after the short teaser released two weeks ago, and now a 17-minute gameplay video has just been released that shows gamers that it has the potential to be compared to Doom Eternal in terms of gore and violence.

This trailer seems to do a good job of its own because the gamers who finished watching it felt very excited about the game. As you can see in the above trailer, the main character Wang of Shadow Warrior 3 appears to have learned quite a few moves from the main characters of Bulletstorm, Serious Sam or Doom, such as pulling the opponent towards him and kicking him into the thorns or “Rip & Tear” the enemy to get their weapons.

Following Devolver Digital’s introduction, Shadow Warrior 3 will follow Lo Wang and his former boss and former enemy and current teammate Orochi Zilla to capture an ancient dragon. Their mistake made its escape from their prison, and now the duo must find a way to put it back into prison again. With gameplay including shooting and slashing in the first-person perspective, gamers will join Lo Wang to explore unknown areas in the world and prevent Doomsday that dragons can cause.
