The PUBG team has just revealed a trailer with some suggestions for the return of the Vikendi map in Season 7.
Fans of the Vikendi snow-covered map in PUBG may rejoice as the new trailer has just posted by the game, it means that the map will return in late April 2020. Unlike other battle royale games, PUBG has upgraded the map to add more “spices” to Erangel, a basic map in the game. The maps are added differently, inspired by various locations around the world from the Miramar Desert to the jungles of Sanhok and Karakin.
The team has gone through major changes and modifications to reach the level of polish they have today. Erangel and Miramar have been overhauled – and it looks like Vikend will be in turn soon.
The trailer above is titled “Seven”, implying that Season 6 of the game is about to end. In the trailer, starting with the rotation of a corridor that is being magnified, closer and closer to an old screen. On the television there are many clips and conversations such as “terrible tragedy”, “dinosaur land” and “history” can be heard through the noise. After that, the screen dimmed into a PUBG logo, along with the sound of an oncoming train. A lot of effort has been put into this trailer, similar to the previous teaser for Erangel’s behind-the-scenes story.
In this new Season, many upgrades are expected in Dino Park. Areas like roller coasters and fence mazes will be changing – with roller coasters becoming a means for you to quickly find your enemies. However, this is not the only rail transport on the map – there will be trains going through the Vikendi map. This is actually one of the boldest moves for developers – as the map scaling down is incompatible with train systems running through fixed locations. Early players described the trains as “fun but really ridiculous”.
