Your childhood must be memorable if you know these games. So now let’s take a look at the games that affect our childhood most
Road Rash (1991)
It is a racing game, but with punch, weapon, push…etc. The first time I bought my first PC, I had this game right in my PC and it was an addicting game, I play it every day. The feeling that you are racing and fighting with the opponent at high speed is so exciting.
Super Mario Bors. (1985)
Your childhood must be full of memory with this great game when you travel to the mushroom kingdom and fight with those little mushrooms, turtle,…etc to rescue the princess. Not only the game is legendary the theme music is classical. The game is so great that until now there are a lot of sequels of Mario Series produced every year.
Aladdin is a great game with a side-scrolling platform. I still remember the time that I traveled through the Arabian market stealing things, fighting with the guard, picking apples, and of course picking gems too. It deserves to be a AAA game of that time.
Metal Slug (1996)
If you mention about childhood game, it has to have Metal Slug the run and gun game that sticks to our childhood so many years. To the time that we still play games on the Neo-Geo Arcade machine hardware (MVS) and the Neo-Geo home game consoles (AES) hardware, the huge gaming machine. We must remember the time that we turn into the soldier go around do the missions and defeat the enemy.
Red Alert 1 (1996)
I can say that this is one of my best strategy games that I’ve played. To build your army powerful, you have to know what is your enemy strong point and weak point to build your army reasonable. There are 2 factions that you can choose between Allied and Soviet. Whether you choose Allied or Soviet you all have to mine like ores or minerals to develop your army.
Age of Empires (1997)
I think I do not have to say much about this game because from 1997 to now we have a lot of tournaments, competition about this game, you must have heard the game once of your life. Age of Empires is a real-time strategy game that focuses on events in Europe, Africa, and Asia. You build your army from the stone age to the iron age. But a match of this game is very long average 1 hour/match. So if you decide to play this game again, be careful because you may play it from dawn to midnight.
Mega Man X (1994)
We often call it Rockman X, I think it is 1 one of the best games that Capcom has made for us. The feeling of living in the robot world at that time is really exciting. When you can control a robot dashing the enemy attack and try to defeat the boss is the great feeling at that time.
This game is the first first-person shooter that I’ve played. I can not forget when I become the soldier go around and shoot everything moving. And after that, I know how to connect the LAN network, so I and my friends can play this game together and of course, I defeated him easily.
Battle Realms (2001)
For me, This is the best graphic game that I’d played back then. It’s a real-time strategy game and it has a lot more of faction than Red alert. Actually there 4 factions: the Dragon clan, the Wolf clan, the Serpent clan, the Lotus clan. With a lot of factions, you will spend a ton of hours playing this game back then.
